What measures of the Housing Law are in charge of the autonomous

The Housing Law is already underway, but we cannot say the same about all the measures it includes. Thus, since its entry into force on May 25, 2023, we review which measures of the Housing Law are in charge of the autonomous communities. This modification seeks to address the concentration of ownership and regulate the practices of owners with a greater number of homes. Delinking the update of rental prices from the CPI Regarding the Consumer Price Index, the Law establishes the decoupling of the CPI from rent in the annual update of rent. Although this measure is of a state nature, it will be implemented from January 2025. Until then, update limits are established for the years 2023 and 2024 , which may not exceed 2% and 3%, respectively.
